Job Hunt

Strawberry Pickin'

We went with our neighborhood playgroup to pick strawberries this morning--so much fun!! Adie, who previously would only eat strawberries in smoothies, ate a TON!

Coloring

I just caught Wesley coloring! He wasn't actually pushing hard enough to make any marks, but he had picked up a piece of paper and crayon that Adie left by her easel, and the was moving the crayon on the paper!

Of course, when Adie saw that Wesley was coloring, she wanted to color. So she nudged him out of the way,and started practicing writing "H".


Then she wanted her picture taken, too.


And as much interaction tends to end in tears around here lately, Wesley bit the crayon in half, prompting me to take it away, which, of course, left him in tears!

Sweet Potatoes

I've started feeding Wesley "big people" food. Adie requested sweet potatoes, one of her favorites, and Wesley LOVED them!!

Letters

Adie has been practicing her letters. She wrote all of these by herself (except for her name, of course)! Notice the "A", "i"s, "o"s and "H"s!

Adie's 1st (MAJOR) Haircut

Unfortunately, *sniff, sniff* my little girl looks a lot older now! This was Daddy's idea to keep her cool over the summer. She was SO excited to go, and she sat perfectly. Doesn't she look beautiful?!

Picnic at the Park

Today we went to the park with our playgroup and our neighbor Alex. As we were walking to the car Adie said, "That was fun."
